Ship Husbandry Services
Port-call support covering crew changes, launches, bunkers and lubricants, fresh water, spares, stores and crew medical services.
Overview
About our Ship Husbandry Services
BS Group provides ship husbandry support for vessels calling at port and lying within and outside port limits. Our team coordinates the arrangements a vessel needs during a call — from crew movements and launches through to bunkers, fresh water, stores and spares.
Requirements are handled as a single coordinated scope, so masters, technical managers and procurement teams work with one point of contact rather than several separate suppliers.

Our Process
From First Enquiry to Final Follow-Up
- 01
Requirement & Enquiry
You tell us the vessel, the port or position, the dates and what is needed. Enquiries reach us by phone, e-mail or the form on this site, and our 24 / 7 contact is published for anything urgent.
- 02
Technical Assessment
We review the scope against what the job actually involves — drawings or samples for fabrication, specifications for spares, quantities for stores, access and timing for work alongside.
- 03
Quotation & Planning
You receive a quotation covering the agreed scope, together with the plan for how and when it will be carried out.
- 04
Coordination & Preparation
Boats, tugs, barges and cranes are arranged where required. Spares and stores are cleared, warehoused and consolidated so the vessel receives one coordinated delivery.
- 05
Service Execution
The work is carried out — crew movements, supply, fabrication or afloat repair — with our team coordinating between the vessel, the port and the contractors involved.
- 06
Completion & Follow-Up
Delivery is confirmed, documentation is passed back, and we stay reachable for anything arising after the call.
